Permanent Account & Data Deletion

In compliance with Apple App Store Review Guideline 5.1.1(v), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and CCPA, SheikhSoft provides full user autonomy to permanently delete your account and all associated accounting records at any time. Deletion is irreversible.

Method 1: In-App Account Deletion (Instant & Recommended)

If you have the Smart Ledger: AI Accounting app installed on your iPhone or iPad, you can delete your account immediately with real-time cryptographic execution:

Step-by-Step In-App Guide

Open App: Launch Smart Ledger: AI Accounting on your iOS device.
Go to Profile: Tap the Profile / Settings icon located in the bottom navigation bar.
Scroll to Danger Zone: Scroll all the way to the bottom of the Settings screen where the red Danger Zone card is located.
Tap Delete Account: Tap the Delete Account button.
Confirm Deletion: A warning dialog will display explaining that all ledgers, vouchers, and attachments will be wiped permanently. Tap Delete My Account Permanently to execute deletion.

Method 2: Web-Based Deletion Request

If you no longer have access to your Apple device, have uninstalled the application, or cannot sign in, you can request an account deletion directly through this website:

Online Deletion Request by Email

Please send an email from the exact email address associated with your Smart Ledger account to ensure identity verification:

Subject: Smart Ledger Account Deletion Request

Message: "Please permanently delete my Smart Ledger: AI Accounting user account and all associated accounting records associated with this email address."

Manual deletion requests sent via email are verified and cryptographically purged within 48 to 72 hours. You will receive a final confirmation email once data destruction is complete.

What Data Is Permanently Purged?

When an account is deleted (either in-app or via web request), the following data is destroyed permanently:

Authentication & Profile

User profile, email address, password hashes, and identity records in auth.users are immediately removed.

Workspaces & Companies

All created legal entities, workspaces, company profiles, currency setups, and fiscal parameters are dropped.

Ledgers & Transactions

Chart of accounts, journal vouchers, debits/credits, vendor/customer contacts, tax configs, and balance sheets are erased.

Receipts & Attachments

All uploaded receipt images, invoice documents, and cached OCR text files in cloud storage are wiped.

On-Device Local Cache & Keychain

For in-app deletion, the local SQLite database file, image cache, and secure Keychain tokens are wiped before sign-out.

Important Notice Regarding Apple Subscriptions

Under Apple's privacy and billing security architecture, deleting your Smart Ledger account does not automatically cancel an active Apple In-App Purchase subscription. Third-party developers cannot cancel subscriptions on your behalf.
